Rudolf Steiner Calendar of the Soul Supplement With Rudolf Steiner's Verses Carefully Translated with Updated Dates for the 2025-2026 Year
Following profound esoteric impulses, R. Steiner created a so-called Calendar of the Soul that would always start at Easter of each year. When, like this year, Easter 2025 is late and Easter of 2026 is early some choices have to be made how the 52 verses of that year (2025-26) are to be connected to the weeks of that year.
You can find our choices (which verses correspond to which week) and the reasons why they were made like that in our latest Supplement to the comprehensive Calendar of the Soul book published by the Kolisko Institute.
We hope that they will enable us to more closely align ourselves with these impulses that R. Steiner considered so fundamental that he worked on final edits for this work all the way to the end of his life.
This new edition of the Calendar has the new dates and their accompanying verses. This is meant to be a companion to the already present book; the supplement does not include the eurythmy forms or introductory material. We have also given the translation from German into English for each verse. This is not a “beautiful and poetic” translation but rather we are giving every line in English as R. Steiner gave it in German. This hopefully gives the possibility to know which eurythmy movements go with which line.
We highly recommend also purchasing the full book if you do not already have a copy. The complete Calendar of the Soul book includes the carefully translated verses, but also for the first time includes the eurythmy forms that R. Steiner indicated for each week.
The purchase of the Calendar update and the original book, from the Kolisko Institute, benefits all activities of this non-profit institution.
